- Measurement NOT OFF by 2 inches: The tape measure indicates the distance from the center point where the pin is placed to where the pencil is located. Certain individuals believe there is a discrepancy in accuracy because the tape starts at approximately 2.5" rather than 0, but this measurement represents the distance between the pencil and center when the tape is fully retracted. Refer to Image #2 for further clarification.
